Hosted by Commuter Connections & Washington Area Bicyclists Association
This free annual event boasts more than 100 pit stops across DC, VA, and MD including several in Prince George's County. Free giveaways, food, and beverages at participating locations.
There are online resources for starting an employer/employee ride, first-time riders, and creating/sponsoring a hub.
Bike to Work Day is organized at the DC Metro regional level by Commuter Connections and the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA).

Hosted by Anacostia Trails Heritage Area, Hyattsville CDC, and College Park City-University Partnership
Trolley Trail Day is a free celebration with a fun run, bicycle ride, local music, kid activities, art making, exercise classes, food and drinks, and more!
Activities are planned all day along the ~4 mile Rhode Island Avenue Trolley Trail through Hyattsville, University Park, Riverdale Park and College Park.
The event is organized by three local non-profits: Anacostia Trails Heritage Area, Hyattsville Community Development Corporation, and the College Park City-University Partnership.

Hosted by Hyattsville CDC
Arts & Ales features over 100 jury-selected artists and artisans as well as craft breweries, food vendors, live music performances, and children's activities.
There's something for everyone at this event. From shopping, locally brewed beer, great food, and fun activities, we have you covered.
The festival is organized by the Hyattsville Community Development Corporation in partnership with the City of Hyattsville.
Annually in November
Hosted by WABA
Crisp autumn air, picture-perfect foliage, and a day spent on Prince George’s County trails. Plus: cider and donuts. What more could you want out of a fall day!?
Join the Washington Area Bicyclist Association (WABA) for a 60, 30, or 10 mile ride, followed by a celebration.
Registration fees support WABA’s work in the region and our mission empowering people to ride bikes, build connections and transform places.
